Alfajiri Villas

One hour from Mombasa Airport with 10 daily scheduled services from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta and Wilson Airports , Alfajiri villas are considered by many as the finest villas on the East African Coast. Alfajiri Villas overlook the Indian Ocean and theirs elevated positions ensure privacy and stunning views. African Style villas where the theme is high Makuti roofs, ivory Danish floors, wooden beams, Lamu doors and impressive African and Far Eastern Artefacts. Most of the furniture is made on the property in the villa’s workshop. The gardens are meticulously maintained and include many palms from the villa’s nursery.

 

The accommodation

Alfajiri Villas offers 3 very luxurious villas, all situated on the most beautiful places along the beach. Alfajiri has three very large villas: the Garden villa, beach villa and cliff villa. The beach villa has 2 luxuriously appointed double bedrooms with their own bathroom. One of them overlooks the Indian Ocean, and the other the overflowing swimming pool. 2 additional rooms, under the makuti roof, would provide exciting accommodation for children only.The rooms do not have air conditioning but they do have a ventilator to provide the necessary cool. The Garden villa consists of four double rooms with air conditioning. All rooms have a view over the Indian Ocean an have their own bathroom.

Large verandas with huge hand carved sofas with cushions dominate the front of the villas where a stretch swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging into the sea and the horizon. Each villa can be occupied with a large family and children are more than welcome. There is a 24 hr nanny service available. The pool is fabulous and a large veranda in Creole style dominates the magnificent garden, which overlooks the ocean. The furniture in Lamu style gives the whole a warm African atmpsphere. Because of the italian owner, the kitchen has a definite mediterrenean influence. Fresh fish and crusaceans are on the menu, just as vegetables and fruit, which are delivered daily

Golf

An 18-hole championship golf course is ideally located less than two minutes away from Alfajiri Cliff Villa. Home to the Diani Beach Masters, this is recognized as one of the most exciting golf courses in East Africa. Fully irrigated fairways run through Palm, Cashew nut and Casuarinas Pine trees. The par 72 and 6084-meter course has 85 bunkers and a large lake, which guarantees a challenging and exciting game of golf. The golf course also plays host to abundant bird-life and several species of monkey. Greenfees are included in the price.

Unwinding

The villas have everything available for you to unwind. Massages, tennis, windsurfing and snorkelling. Deep sea diving and high sea fishing can be arranged at extra cost
